About Me - The Aligned Hygienist

Mission

My mission is to help you ditch pain, stress and anxiety, and create more freedom in your

body and mind so you can step into your power, have more fun and live a well-balanced life. I want to teach you the tools through yoga for back pain.

About Our Founder

My name is Caitlin, I’m a chronic pain survivor, Certified Yoga Therapist, Registered Dental Hygienist, and founder and CEO of Caitlin Parsons Yoga Therapy, a yoga therapy and wellness company. I recently made my dreams a reality by quitting my full-time job as a dental hygienist to pursue my passion and purpose helping others get back into alignment.

Now I use my personal and professional experiences with chronic pain, stress and anxiety, and injury recovery to help women step back into their own alignment – in their bodies, minds and throughout their lives. I help empower women to create balance in their bodies and minds so they can access greater levels of freedom in their lives inside my monthly membership program (Aligned), group coaching program for hygienists (The Aligned Hygienist), a Yoga + Coaching Program for Dental Teams, and private yoga therapy coaching.

I love to share my knowledge and expertise on mindfulness and therapeutic yoga for back pain through my blog and social media platforms as well as guest appearances on other inspiring and like-minded podcasts.

A letter from Caitlin

At Caitlin Parsons Yoga Therapy, my goal is to help you get intentional about your health. This means that I will teach you yoga for back pain (and other areas of pain!), help you build healthy habits, routines and patterns in your mind and body through strategy and planning, and I also teach you how to shift your mindset, become your own healer and how to listen to your body’s signs and signals.

For a long time, I struggled to see long lasting results in my own body and with my clients when it came to reducing stress, pain and feeling more balanced in life. I wasn’t combining both of them together and I soon realized this: it isn’t JUST about what happens on the mat and in our sessions if we aren’t addressing what happens when we are OFF the mat and in our everyday life. They can work as a cohesive team if we weave them together properly.

I realized quickly that in order to get my clients the results they desire that actually last, I had to combine my work with strategy and planning, both in their sessions and outside of their sessions, in addition to the work I do with teaching people how to shift their mindset and tap into their bodies innate wisdom. When strategy and aligned action is coupled with shifting your mindset, patterns and tapping into your unique healing capabilities, the results you get is far greater than is possible otherwise. And that is what I bring to my clients, communities and readers alike.

Unlike other coaching or yoga therapy programs where you have weekly sessions and then you have to wait a whole week to ask questions, get feedback or support, our program is different. I’m here for you every step of the way. You’ll get daily access to me to help you keep the needle moving forward.
